LightRay UV Sewer Repair

Long gone are the days of having to dig holes or dig up the entire yard to be able to repair sewer lines. Trenchless sewer repair and replacement have been becoming more popular over the last couple of years, but that requires digging a couple of holes and pulling the new pipe through, leaving some not-so-nice spots in your yard. But did you know there was a way to repair your sewer line without digging any holes?

At Gold Seal Plumbing, we wanted a better way to repair sewer lines without creating holes, saving you time and money. The LightRay UV Sewer Repair system does just that. By using an already-established cleanout in your yard or by removing a toilet, our factory-certified technicians are able to run a liner down the sewer line and inflate it to fit the pipe. Using UV lights, they are able to cure the liner in place, creating a new pipe within the broken pipe.

While this is new technology to us and the region (we are the only ones in the region currently to have this technology!), it has been tried, tested, and successful for a long time. The question right now in your mind probably is "What are the benefits of the LightRay UV Sewer Repair System compared to other trenchless methods?" Let's talk about the benefits now:

  • Saves hours of time on each job. Because the LightRay System includes 50ft of UV light cord, we are able to do more in a shorter amount of time. We can do a total repair of 150ft at 6.3ft/minute, making it a half-day job at most. Most other sewer repair jobs are days to weeks long, LightRay makes it possible to do the job in a matter of hours.
  • Saves you money. Because there is no digging, there aren't the labor or equipment costs to dig holes in your yard or the money spent to fix the yard after the job is done. Also, the liner is able to accommodate various bends in the lining, so in some cases, we are able to repair the pipe with one piece of liner, savings you money on material costs.
  • Structurally as sound as other sewer pipes, without all the mess and disruption to the yard. The LightRay liner exceeds structural requirements without being cured by any excess heat or causing disruptions in the landscaping. Whether it be grass, plants, concrete, or decks, the LightRay System might be the best option for you because none of that has to be ripped out, but you can still get your sewer line repaired.
